The nut and most the the bolt on the clip broke off, and I need to replace it.
A: Any decent auto part stores will carry the replacement parts you need. I'm assuming you're referring to the cables and connections, not the battery terminal itself. If thats the case, then you just need to buy a new battery.

A: I answered this for someone else about the same time as you posted on here as well. According to the pages listed below, Volvo is using a song that you can't get {commercially}. They said it is called 'I Adore You' {by Melpo Mene}. It does have a link to the MySpace page, where it says you can listen to the song. It did give the following lyrics {which fit what you said}:

Q: How do i turn on the cruise control in a 1998 Volvo C70?
I dont know how to turn this on, i can find the cruise settings on the turn signal but cant figur out how to turh it on.
A: at the end of the shift is a button, the very end,get to desired speed and press button in, the pedal will move from your foot & the car will move on its own, going down-hill car will seem to slow--its only staying a same speed & will increase slightly up-hill,,,think it only works past 50 mph,,,
Q: I just bought a 2000 Volvo C70 with some badly scratched leather seats. Whats the best way to fix them.?
A couple of Pug dogs have done a number on these seats and elbow rest in the middle. I'm not interested a DIY self fix and I'd like to keep the costs down. Thanks for any solid answers.
A: hello.do you see any car detailers around?they can help you with those scratches.that is assuming the damage is skin deep. they have upholstery formulas.
but,if it is worse,look for thin seat covers.i cant recall if c70s are equipped with the sips.if they are,make sure that there is a slot exactly located on the sips area.
Q: What kind of gas mileage can I expect with a 1999 Volvo C70 Cross Country Station Wagon?
We are looking at buying this auto but don't have a manual or any info on it. Any other info about this car would also be appreciated.

A: I have a 1998 V70 cross country station wagon. I love this car. I keep very accurate records and I am getting about 24 mpg hwy/20 city. I definitely notice I get better gas mileage using medium grade rather than low grade but not much better by using premium.
I have also been religious about getting all the maintenance done on time and oil changes on schedule.

A: Parts plus labor. Most shops have a factory service manual which has a estimated time for each job, which they use as their base estimate for their hourly rate. I do not happen to have the service manual for your car, however the normal job interval for a heater core replacement is around 2-3 hours. How much the shop decides to charge for their hourly rate is completely up to them. I normally charge roughly 50 dollars an hour.

This only happens when I'm in drive. Its picks back up again though. I'm just waiting for the day it completely stalls out when I'm sitting their.

A: My car is a Nissan Maxima and it had the same problem before. Mine was some sort of throttle body actuator, which I guess is some kind of sensor that has something to do with fuel and air and combustion and all that. They also cleaned the throttle body. No problems since.

My car is about a year and a half old and recently I noticed the roof rattling quite a bit. Took it to dealer to have it check and they lubed all the seals as per the manufacturer. It still makes some noise but the dealer says that the only other thing they could do is to replace the seals but the car will never be the same.
This is my last resort. Anyone else have this problem and what did you do?

A: They are a big improvement over the old style c70. No more rattles or stiff ride. They still are just an s40 with an automatic hard top. Keep in mind though if you get in a rear end accident with the top down they are pretty much a throw away car. check for an insurance quote first if your really interested n the car. With that said they are a cool car though. A t5 with a stick is the only way to go very fun to drive. It's too bad volvo doesnt advertise the fun side of some of their cars like this car or the way cool 300 horse S60 R

The cooling fans for these vehicles look very similar. The Volvo 850 part number for this item (9141249, 3507197) is different from the part number for the C/S/V70 models: (9497929, 8631120). Can they be interchanged? Any insight would be much appreciated. Holla back!!? Thanks.

I plan to relocate soon, and will have to live on savings until I get another job. The carnote is rather high, and I'm not sure if I should keep the car or not.
A: Sell it. The cost of a Volvo for some people is not that much however, for some it is a lot. Repair, maintenance, car payment etc.... It is clear your not going to be able to afford it. Sell it, when the time comes and you can afford it get another one. Don't let emotional attachments stop you from doing what is correct with your finances. Good luck.
